I knew I had to accomplish many things with this shoot. #1 it had to be FAST. London just turned 3 a week and a half ago and naptime was approaching…before we even started the shoot…so that was #1! #2 I had several products I had to shoot for other people, especially Katy Bjork’s stunning headbands she made for London! You can view her amazing work on her etsy shop and Facebook page. She is Birdie Baby Boutique. You will love her things! and #3 I wanted to get pictures of London when she turned 3 on that exact day but instead she was sick with a fever that entire day
We went to the doc and everything. So, as soon as I could I had to make up the shoot! It was just me and her and I knew that would be iffy anyway…to try to get her to focus and be interested for an hour and three outfits. But it was a beautiful day out today and she did great…no real meltdowns, just a little whining at times
She didn’t look at the camera much but that’s ok by me, I tend to enjoy the natural shots more anyway. And #4 I wanted it to be a shoot with a vintage feel. London has sooo many outfits that look vintage/retro and I wanted to use them all here! The yellow bib dress was for her Curious George red/yellow party theme last weekend, and she rocked it so I had to include that outfit
So here you will see London and also some beautiful headband shots for Katy. Enjoy!
These were taken in the South Main district downtown…what better place to do Vintage photos than a place frozen in time? The Lorraine Motel.
