Yay for tiny little slivers of photoshoots![]()
First up is Jude’s “Day In the Life” session. Remember London’s about 2.5 years ago? If not, hope on over to my old blog HERE and check it out![]()
Puke on the floor, puzzles, ponies, and ending the day in ceremonial flashlight tag. All you get are 5 photos…more to come!

Nexty, a tiny piece of family photoshoot pie. Here’s some of the Reeves’ old-school family shoot! Jen, you are waaaaay too easy to take pictures of! Jen chose over-sized old-timey clothes for her boys and we shot in a field.

AND…
Planning a family shoot of some kind? Choose a color scheme. Everyone DOES NOT have to match 100%. Jen chose to match her boys and put her husband in a peacoat and herself in a vintagy large-knit sweater. If your photographer suggests bright colors bc you are going to have a fun, urban shoot with funky couches and chairs, don’t have everyone wearing all turquoise shirts and jeans! Try THIS for your kids:

See? Take the inspiration of the TIE and pull colors from it. Have a fun red chair? Bring that, too! It will help tie all your colors together for at least one grouping of shots. Tell your photog what colors you’ve chosen so she can choose wisely your location. Turquoise door. Red brick wall. Distressed white warehouse. Stick that red chair in front of that warehouse and you’ve got yourself a really fun, funky grouping of photos on your living room wall!
